Co- production of Dubai TV reality series for kids suffering from Cancer
Client task:
This project ran for 3 months and we were able to make the dreams of 15 children a reality, but we are providing details on the top 3 cases (Salem, Amira and Fatima). The reality TV series was a charitable production sponsored by Dubai govt., which was produced by Think+ inconjuction with Fame, the series was all about making dreams a reality for number of arabic children suffering from critical illnesses to give them joy, strength and hope.
Salem - is a 9 years old boy suffering from bone cancer, his dream was to be driven in a Lamborghini, and Ferrari for a day and want to meet a Formula 1 driver.
Amira - 5 years old girl suffering from Leukemia want to be a celebrity for a day and to meet Colin Firth
Fatima - 8 years old girl, suffering from Lymphoma whose dream was to meet her Idol, Her Majesty, Queen Rania of Jordan.
Fame made it all happen!
Our Solution:
For Salem visiting from Jordan - We hired a latest Lamborghini and Ferrari and arranged for a professional formula 1 race driver to drive him around for the day. Upon arrival at the airport, there was a white Lamborghini Murciélago and a formula 1 driver waiting for him, the boy was very happy and excited while he was driven around Dubai. The next day we organized another tour to Alain in his beloved red Ferrari.
Amira - Was given a professional coaching by our top celebrity stylist on how to walk the red-carpet for her special appearance at the Dubai International Film Festival, Fame took her shopping for that special red carpet dress. We arranged for a photographer and an entourage followed her in a limousine to the DIFF, where she was welcomed and announced on the red carpet and met english Oscar winner actor Colin Firth.
Fatima dream - We contacted the office of Queen Rania in Jordan and explained what we were doing and within 2 weeks, we received an official invitation for her to fly out to Jordan to meet her Idol Queen Rania.
For the crew visiting from time to time from lebanon for the shoot, we took care of their lodging, ground tranportation, Fame processed all the location permits/approvals as well as sourcing various locations where the shoot took place. We were the production team point of contact in UAE for getting things done for the series.
